Curriculum
One of the things dear to our hearts at Guardian Angel, aside from caring for and teaching all of the precious children entrusted to us during the day, is the time spent during the week on character training. Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world and character is not something that most children learn by themselves, it is something that has to be instilled something that leaves an impression.
Consider this quote from Frederick Douglass, “It is easier to raise strong children than to repair broken men” and at Guardian Angel we want to come alongside our families to do just that…raise strong children.
Teachers share the truth of God’s Word not only through stories, songs, and verses in each morning’s Bible class, but also through every class taught from a biblical perspective.
With character-building content that reinforces Christian values and ethics, we place emphasis on developing the person that each student is growing to be.
High academic standards and captivating lessons enable each student to reach his own highest potential: with the average student achieving above-average results.
Teachers provide individual attention for students that need a little extra help or are ready to try an additional challenge. They make sure each student understands what he’s learning and help take each student’s strengths to the next level.
At Guardian Angel Christian Daycare & Academy, we strive to maximize each child’s early school experience. Our teachers nurture and encourage our students, developing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to succeed at the next level. We aim to enhance young minds through their academic abilities. Our studies go beyond the basics of reading, math and writing. Extended studies include arts & crafts, Bible, sign language, biblical character development and Spanish to name a few.*
Alongside our academic standards, we offer security and encouragement to create a positive atmosphere that’s conducive to learning and growth. With songs and games, we make learning fun and memorable for little ones. We seek to show God’s love in our everyday interaction. From Bible lessons to the meals we provide, your child is engaged and actively attuned to God’s creation and grace in the world around them. Every effort is made to equip each child with foundational character attributes that will be displayed in their daily actions—while learning and while at play. Any time you have a question or just want to hear an update about your child, the teacher will be delighted to set up a time to meet with you and make sure your child is getting the help and attention he needs.
With Guardian Angel’s Procare parent portal app, you can monitor your child’s day as well as attendance, announcements, and upcoming activities.
